SONG REVIEW - SCARS TO YOUR BEAUTIFUL

Image
The song, Scars to Your Beauitful written by Allesia Caracciolo, speaks to the very challenge every young girl experiences by wanting to be seen as beautiful. What is more, the song contrasts the lengths women will go to in order to make themeselves appear more beautiful, but perhaps the line “you should know, you’re beautiful yhe way you are” is the most profound statement for this generation. In the music video, “Scars to Your Beautiful”, Alessia Cara skillfully illumnates her messages that everyone is beautiful. Cara uses both ethos and pathos to help get her message out to her audience. Cara wants people who feel put down by society to know that it is okay to be different and love the scars they have. At the start of the music video Cara standing in plain white room, in a plain outfit, which can lead you to believe that she is just an ordinary person, in an ordinary place and nothing extremely special. Then the video cuts to all of the different speakers, who all say thier na...

Image
"WE ARE THE CHANGE THAT WE SEEK" Based on the poster, I assume this is about "Hope" that some people put to someone that can make a huge impact to world or change people perspective about something. I can see that Barrack Obama is the main reason why the poster was made. The poster which has become a symbol in 2008 Election Campaign. The image showing Barrack Obama is focusing sharply into distance or been thinking deeply into something. The colour paint of the poster also assemble the flag of United State of America which is blue, red and white.  The poster was made by Shepard Fairey which is one of the follower Barrack Obama. I think he made the poster because he think that Barrack Obama can bring a huge impact to the country if he win the election in 2008 and become president. All began when Obama held a speech in 2004 about uniting America and creating opportunities to everyone to prosper. Fairey noticed that he share the same political view and decide to full...
